The shift into Daylight Savings Time has completely destroyed the sleep schedules of my two boys, and one of my dogs. It's two days in and I'm still beyond exhausted. Hoping I can get some sleep before I have to shift my timezone again when I travel to Croydon for the Spring ISO C++ meeting.
January 2026
Enjoying watching the sun rise more to the north each passing day. It's been oscilating between just near-freezing and damn frigid this season. Work has been stressful, but a fair number of our outstanding projects from 2025 are wrapping up, meaning we can start to focus more heavily on 2026 goals.
I think I'm going to leave old entries up, instead of just wiping them away. Will try that for a bit and see how I feel about it.

Nearly survived my first half-year as a team leader. I think I'm doing pretty well holding the fort down. About time to do some christmas shopping and relax a little for the holidays.
We didn't have much of an Autumn this year. It stayed pretty warm until it decided it was time to freeze. Looking at some snow outside through my bay window now. Maybe we'll have a white Christmas?
